Synopsis

For twenty years on, Samsonite manufactured luggage in Hénin-Beaumont, in the Pas-de-Calais.

In 2005, the American group decided to close its only French site. Employees were offered a promising reconversion in the manufacture of solar panels.

Eighteen months later, not a single panel was manufactured and the factory was forced into bankruptcy...

Employees, dismissed without compensation, denounce a sordid legal-financial conspiracy.

A long legal battle is now starting with the “pasionarias” of the factory, with the support of Fyodor Rilov, a lawyer specialized in this type of business.
