Synopsis

Flamboyant, heroic, solar. Susan Travers is one of those women we do not forget. For seven years from 1940 to 1947, this English girl raised in the South of France, daughter of a Royal Navy officer, fought the war as a driver in the Free French Forces and then in Indochina.

This woman was the great love of General Koenig. The ""cleaners"" of memory cleaned up the traces of the one who could have shamed the reputation of Koenig, the winner of Bir Hakeim, later elevated to the dignity of Marshal of France.

Susan had to wait until the age of 86 to be recognized and finally decorated with the Legion of Honor, before Simone Veil later paid tribute to her.
